Admittedly, it's my home town and I'm probably biased - but I speak from 20 odd years of running experience. This half marathon was up there with the very best. Fantastic course and brilliant organisation. Everyone involved should be proud.

Six months ago I couldn't run 1 mile, I was inspired by my athletic 13 year old daughter, I trained and completed the half marathon in 2 hours, 2 minuetes. I enjoyed every step of it and finished feeling totally elated. Thank you to those who give up time to organise this event.
