Hated the mud, but seeing Peter Gabriel live made it all worthwhile. Had to leave on the Saturday night, 'cos my legs ached too much to walk in the mud any more, have ing lost my wellies at least twice!

I lovedd womad ! it defeniatly was womud though but it made the expeirence 10x better! Due to the fun i had last year i am due to go this year ! tomorow in fact lol!! Best everr!

WOMAD is the best 3 days of chilled out nutty fun, I've been to a few over the years and am loving the new venue. Keep it up, it beats all the other festi's hands down. If you haven't been you won't be disappointed, mud or no mud!!!

I have to say I was very disapointed with the weather, I really could not stay for the whole 3 days, I went home on the 2nd day, the mud was just to much.Free ticket this year for me I should day. It was diablical.

womad was ace! even tho it was full of mud it was the best 3 days ever. i would love to come again because every year it gets better well done!

This year at womad it was soooo good i will like to come again. The mud was bad but it was still fun!I loved the Zulu Worriors and would like to see them again next year. Keep up the good work and we will come as much as we can to enjoy a fun lovely few days.

Just to say.. thank you Womad! A wonderful, colourful and beautiful experience (despite the rain). We will certainly be back next year.

Thanks for a great set of photos. Glad someone was taking pics - I chickened out and left my camera in my tent! Best gig? For me 大象传媒 Radio 3 stage and 'Jaune Toujours' - even the sun was too hot that afternoon!

I thought womad 2007 was absolutley amazing and i plan on going next year. the mud made my experience even better and i wouldn't of changed any thing about it

It was great, both musically and the atmosphere. Favourites include Orchestre Virunga so good we saw them twice, Taj Mahal Trio, Marzoug and lots, lots more As long you go prepared for the weather, we weren't bothered by a bit of mud..

the dhol foundation were really good and so were some other people there should be more pictures of performers and less of the mud as that wasn't the main part of the festival

Yes it was muddy but the music was amazing and everyone who went home early missed super performances womad wasn't about the mud it was about the amazing music arts and dance the mud was only minor provided you had wellies.

Yes, the mud was terrible. But that was the result of all the rain in the previous ten days. It was the consequence, rather than the purpose of the festival. That was to bring people together and provide three days of wonderful music, which it did. So where are the photos of local-boy-made-good Jamie Cullum, playing some avant garde stuff on the Saddle Span stage? Or the Taj Mahal Trio who rocked the Siam tent on Sunday night? I have some brilliant photos of both these great live acts if you want them.
