Snakes to most people amount to little more than slimey, poisonous creatures.
One man's perception of snakes completely changed after he played the role of a snake charmer in the movie "Born Free"- about a game warden and his wife raising three orphaned lion cubs.
But for 54 year-old Samwel Kanji his role in the movie liberated him from his fear of snakes.
So much so that now his small farm in Naivasha's Kongoni village about 90 kms from the capital Nairobi is a haven for different species of snake.
Our reporter Gladys Njoroge visited his snake park to find out more.
