In a change of tone, President Robert Mugabe has said Zimbabwe is ready for a new relationship with countries that have criticized its leadership in the past.
Speaking at the opening of a session of parliament, Mr Mugabe said that Zimbabwe wanted to have good ties with the West.
Mr Mugabe's statements are a departure from the past where he has always criticised the west and their stance on Zimbabwe.
So does this certify a change of heart on Mr Mugabe's part?
