Nigerians take to the streets

Protestors have taken to the streets of the Nigerian capital, Abuja, amidst concerns over President Umaru Yar'Adua's long stay in hospital abroad.

The president gave an interview to the ´óÏó´«Ã½ last night, breaking nearly two months of silence.

This does not appear to have appeased protestors who are still complaining that his prolonged absence has created a dangerous power vacuum in Nigeria.
