Later today the UN Human Rights office in the DR Congo is to address the media in Lumumbashi - Katanga in the south east of the country.
The focus of the meeting is the sexual violence which continues to be used against women and girls, even in regions no longer affected by conflict.
Unicef says there are more than one thousand rape cases each month.
Marie-Claire Faray Kele is a Congolese women's rights activist and a member of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom.
Peter Ndoro asked her what she knows about sexual violence in Katanga province.
