Ky-Mani Marley is of one of the late reggae star, Bob Marley's children, he has written a new controversial book.

In his book, Ky-Mani Marley complains that because he was one of the reggae singer's illegitimate children, he grew up in poverty while his legitimate siblings lived in splendour, enjoying the riches from their father's music.

Although Bob Marley stood for peace, it appears there's been nothing but war between the singer's children by seven different mothers since his death in 1981.

The book has annoyed some members of the Marley family.

Network Africa's reporter in New York, Leslie Goffe went along to the launch of Dear Dad: Where's the family in Our Family Today? and spoke to Ky-Mani.
