Growing old in Africa
Malawi trade unions are up in arms over proposals that workers should be paid their pension when women reach 55 and men 60.
According to the UN, life expectancy for women in Malawi is 54 and 52 for men.
On the ´óÏó´«Ã½'s day of programming on Affording Old Age we visited a 79 year old retired Kenyan magistrate George Gogwe.
The ´óÏó´«Ã½'s Jamhuri Mwavyombo tracked him down in Mombasa.
