In My Senator, My Vote, the 大象传媒's Robin Lustig travels to each of the candidates' home states to meet four ordinary Americans, and finds out what issues have determined their choices.
In Programme Two, Robin travels to Phoenix, Arizona - now the United States' fifth biggest city and one of the fastest growing. It's the place that Senator John McCain calls home.
And here, close to the Mexican border, Robin finds two different voters who are most concerned about the troubled economy, property prices, and the effects of immigration upon their future prosperity.
Both programmes lift the lid on typical Americans' lives, highlighting the kind of everyday hopes and fears that will help decide who goes to the White House.
Each programme has a sting in the tail however - when Robin asks his subjects to sit down and debate their choices for president.
