Felix posts on the blog: This UN resolution and the actions of France, the USA and the UK are a great transgression against the ideals on which this UN was built. How can so called "world powers" decide to join forces with rebels to fight against the Government of an Independent country?

Larry in Ireland: This UN action by the US, UK, France etc. forces, is essentially an act of war on Libya! I fully realise Gaddafi is no saint when it comes to repression of sections of the Libyian population, but under his control the Libyian people have a very good standard of living.

Tim in South Africa: I predicted worst impacts & it has happened. UN has failed to admit that civilians are dying. What does that mean? Why should UN add a war to a war?

Abubakar in Accra: Why is it that nobody is talking about the Libyan green book. Gaddafi did not decide to stay in power for all this while alone. In fact, his people backed him.

Don, Nigerian in Pennsylvania: America should respect diplomacy of Libya, they have no right to launch war on Libya. This is not gonna be over or make Gaddafistep down. All things like this should be treated with diplomacy.
