Measuring our performance

Target: To increase the impact of the 大象传媒's online offer through high-quality, on-demand multimedia services in key languages - 4.5 million weekly users; 60 million weekly page views (text and audio); 1.3 million weekly video views.

Online growth continued to outstrip predictions and all targets were exceeded

In addition to the annual reporting of performance against measurable targets 大象传媒 World Service has provided regular and adhoc reports on performance, combining information from both quantitative and qualitative research.

This included a detailed report on the initial impact across the Arab world of the new 大象传媒 television service in Arabic; quarterly reporting of online performance, showing trends in usage for Grant-in-Aid-funded areas of the 大象传媒 site, in aggregate and for key language sites, covering text, audio and video usage; and, headlines from research in key markets, as well as ad hoc reports of activity and performance for special thematic programmes or 鈥榮easons' of particular interest to the FCO, prepared after broadcast.
