Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been celebrating his victory in Iran's presidential elections.
He held a mass rally in Tehran on Sunday to thank his supporters and the outcome has been endorsed by the country's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Meanwhile, supporters of the main opposition candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi have been demonstrating on the streets of the capital, risking tear gas and beatings at the hands of the security agencies.
The protestors claim that the election was rigged.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad insists he was re-elected fairly and has blamed foreign media for the unrest.
