More than 520 people are so far confirmed to have died on the Indonesian island of Sumatra as a result of Wednesday's earthquake.
The 7.6-magnitude quake caused hundreds of buildings to collapse in the city of Padang, and the casualty figures are expected to rise.
Rescue efforts are being hampered as roads, power and communication have been cut.
