Moscow Metro builder to be sold off to private sector
The company that built the Moscow Metro is being sold off to the private sector in a move to save money.
Josef Stalin founded Mosmetrostroi in 1931 and it has been in state hands ever since.
Glamorous enough to attract tourists just to see the finely-decorated, chandeliered stations, the Metro system is the most reliable way to get around Moscow.
