Thembi Ngubane
Thembi Ngubane was diagnosed as HIV positive when she was a teenager.
She created some powerful audio diaries about living with Aids which were broadcast on Outlook in 2006.
Thembi had become an ambassador for people with HIV/Aids.
She has died of an Aids related illness, aged 24.
Joe Richman is a producer for National Public Radio (NPR) in the USA. He first asked Thembi to record her audio diaries.
In her diaries, Thembi talks frankly about living with HIV and her fears that she would not see her baby daughter grow up.
