Bird hospital

The walled city of Delhi is home to many dedicated birdlovers who every morning can be heard calling their beloved pet pigeons.

However there are two men who have taken their love of birds one step further.

Brothers Nadeem and Mohammed Saud have turned their roof-top into a hospital to care for sick and injured birds of prey - a hospital which they have funded entirely out of their own pockets.

Outlook reporter Suhail Haleem went to meet the brothers to find out why their work means so much to them, and to meet some of their winged patients.
