Delhi's horse-drawn carriages
On Delhi's roads, the era of the centuries-old traditional tongas - or exotic horse-drawn carriages - is finally drawing to a close.
The tongas can still be seen today on the streets around the historical city of Shahjahanabad - the walled city in Delhi.
However, as India's capital prepares for the Commonwealth Games in October, the government has refused to renew the licences of the city's tongas, around 250, saying they just do not work in today's fast-moving traffic.
Critics say the tongas are part of the city's rich history and should be preserved, while the coachmen - or tonga-wallahs - are concerned about losing their livelihood.
The 大象传媒's Suhail Haleem went to Shahjahanabad to meet the tonga-wallahs and to find out more about the threat to this age-old tradition.
