Learning tribal languages in Taiwan

For generations the indigenous peoples of Taiwan have been forced to abandon their cultures and traditions. This persecution also meant they were forbidden to speak their own languages.

Now the Taiwanese government is trying to put right the injustices of the past and is offering free classes in these threatened indigenous languages.
