Chris Mburu is proof that a small act of kindness can have an amazing effect on your life.
Chris was born in rural Kenya. He was a very bright student at primary school, but his parents could not afford the fees for his education.
Through a charity, a teacher in Sweden called Hilde Back agreed to sponsor Chris to complete his schooling.
Chris went on to study law at Nairobi University, and then to take a Masters degree at the prestigious Harvard University in the United States.
He then got a job as a human rights lawyer for the United Nations.
But he never forgot the kindness of Hilde Back.
He set up a foundation in her name which offers funding to help bright students who come from poor families in Kenya.
The story is the subject of a documentary film called A Small Act, which was shown to great acclaim at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.
Since the film's release, money has flooded into the Hilde Back Education Fund, which now plans to help up to 200 students in Kenya.
