The Newshour team celebrate their win
The 大象传媒 World Service swept the board at the 2008 Sony Radio Academy Awards held in London on Monday night.
The World Service picked up nine awards, four of them gold.
The results were:
GOLD for - Best News and Current Affairs Programme
GOLD for - News Journalist of the Year
GOLD for in the Listener Participation Award
GOLD for the in the Multiplatform Radio Award
SILVER for the Assassination of Benazir Bhutto in the Breaking News Award
SILVER for in the News Feature Award

BRONZE for Live Event Coverage Award for the : Chinese Congress
BRONZE in the Promo Award for ''.
