Hassan described the US as "a nation of nations".

He was also very interested in the issue of obesity - finding Americans very big, but also very friendly:

Gulnara spent much of her time bringing the questions from her audience in Kyrgyzistan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan to America - as well as observing the divisions within the country:

End of Section

Dawood Azami, Afghan stream

Dawood reported from the bus in Pashto and Dari.

He says his audience learned a lot about the American political system, and that he personally learned how open most Americans are to expressing their opinions.

End of Section

Frederique Maillardo, 大象传媒 Afrique

Frederique travelled from Dallas to Memphis.

She says many of her listeners were surprised to discover that poverty also exists in America.

Alexander Zhuravlev, Russian service

Alexander Zhuravlev from the Russian service says he wanted to convey to his listeners that America was not just financial misery and the credit crunch, that the bigger picture was much more complex than that.
