BP criticised for use of chemical dispersants in Gulf oil spill

The response team has used over 600,000 gallons of chemical dispersants

Officials from the White House and senators have taken a helicopter ride over the Gulf of Mexico to see the damage caused by the oil spill for themselves, but are they missing the crucial effects of the clean up?

What are the chemical dispersants BP has used to break up the oil doing to marine life under the water?

Dr Susan Shaw is the founder and director of the Marine Life Environmental Research Institute and she has just been diving in the oil spill.
