Tunnel Rats

Underground and over ground in Nogales, on the US / Mexican border

Tunnel Rats Gallery

On the border between Arizona, USA and Mexico is the town of Nogales.

Under this border town is a network of tunnels, some even constructed with lighting and ventilation. These channels are used for smuggling people, drugs or sometimes just as a place to hide away.

The US Border Patrol are well aware of them and are trained to make regular subterranean inspections. These patrolmen are known as Tunnel Rats.
