Patricia Sawo is a church leader from Kenya. She used to preach that HIV was a curse sent from God and that prayer and fasting would cure it.

But that all changed when she tested positive for HIV herself.

Patricia's life was turned upside down by that diagnosis and now she works tirelessly to help care for children orphaned by AIDS.

When Patricia came to the UK to speak about her work as an HIV ambassador for the charity Tearfund, Matthew Bannister asked her to talk about her change in attitude.
