As the trial of former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic gets underway in The Hague, a very personal trial continues for those devasted by the genocide in Srebrenica.
They too are searching for justice, but many are also still searching for remains of loved ones killed in the 1995 massacre.
Karadzic is charged with war crimes, including charges relating to the massacre of an estimated 8,000 men and boys at Srebrenica.
Devastated by the tragedy, many people have dedicated their lives to the difficult task of searching for their loved ones' remains.
One man who lost his entire family is Hasan Nuhanovic.
He has searched tirelessly for the remains of his mother, father and brother and has yet to find those of his brother. He is also campaigning for his family's killers to be brought to justice.
Hasan spoke to Matthew Bannister and described his memories of the last time he saw his family and his long quest for answers.
