In the traditionally-dominated society of Kenya, thousands of young women are beginning to gain their independence by beating the men at their own game and taking up football.

The girls are part of an initiative called Moving the Goalposts.

It is a charity set up in the poor fishing town of Kilifi, around 30 miles north of Mombasa.

The organisation aims to teach girls football skills whilst boosting their self-esteem and confidence. It also helps them with their secondary education.

Outlook's Anna Bailey went to meet two of the girls who are taking part, 21-year-old Grace and 19-year-old Zilpa, who talk about how football is giving them a chance to fulfil their dreams.
