As America's prestigious Harvard University prepares to celebrate its three hundred and seventy fifth anniversary next year, it's being led by a woman for the very first time.
The university's current President, Drew Gilpin Faust has had a long career as a distinguished historian and award winning author.
But it wasn't the future her parents set out for her.
She was brought up with her three brothers in a traditional family on a farm in the state of Virginia.
As the only girl, she was expected to grow up to be a wife and mother. Well she's done that.
But she's also broken through into a highly influential job which had been held by men for hundreds of years.
