We kick-start writers on their journeys and are here to support them along the way. It takes time. Perseverance. And most of all inspiration.
Dominic Mitchell鈥檚 大象传媒 Three drama, , was discovered by Drama North through 鈥楴orthern Voices鈥� in 2009 - a 大象传媒 Writersroom scheme aimed at Northern writers wanting to write TV drama. Northern Voices provided fantastic training and development for four writers to learn about writing for television drama from some of the most experienced producers and writers in the country. It gave writers the opportunity to develop an original TV drama calling-card script with the support of a writer mentor.
Dominic was one of four writers who was selected and received training and script development 鈥� his intriguing script took a unique angle on the zombie genre and as a result was developed, commissioned and produced by 大象传媒 Drama North.
