S&CO鈥檚 will take place online from 7-10.30pm GMT on Monday 27 January 2024.
Submissions are open for writers anywhere in the world. This time they鈥檙e looking for mini plays, screenplays or audio plays of 2-4 pages, based on the prompt published on their .
It鈥檚 free to submit (one script per entrant). The prize? As well as receiving laurels, up to eight writers will see their piece performed 鈥榣ive鈥� on Zoom by professional , with notes from Zanna Cardash (Artistic Director) or Alex Hollister (Lead Script Consultant) after each one. It鈥檚 a great place to test new work and receive professional notes in a safe, positive environment.
To compete, you must:

- be able to attend the online Zoom event
Your script must be:
- in English
- 2-4 pages long
- spell-checked and formatted appropriately
- in PDF format, with its title and your name in the file name.
Scriptwriters & Co鈥檚 experienced readers assess every submission very carefully. Please don't be disheartened if yours isn't chosen, or leap to the conclusion that it isn't engaging or well-written. Decisions won't just be based on talent, but to offer the audience variety.
