Robbie joins Take That
Solo star visits former bandmates at Electric Lady studios in New York
28 SeptemberÌý2009Ìý-ÌýIt looks like we're one step closer to the full reunion, because Robbie Williams has reportedly been in the studio with Take That.Williams is said to have flown from Los Angeles to New York to meet the lads for Mark Owen's stag night.
He then headed to the Electric Lady studios on Saturday (26 Sept) and Sunday (27) - where Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald have been putting the final touches to their upcoming live album of their latest tour.
According to rumours, they have been working on new songs with Williams, which would be the first time the 35 year-old has recorded with the band since he quit back in 1995, to go solo.
Take That's management could not confirm the story but said: "There is every possibility that he [Williams] popped in to just hear the new recording."
The boy band reformed without Robbie Williams for a tour in 2006, then put out their fourth studio album, Beautiful World.
Their second album since, The Circus, which was released in 2008, went double platinum.
Williams who is gearing up to the release of his new solo effort, Reality Killed The Video Star, in November and has previously told the Daily Mirror he might reunite with Take That for the Children In Need charity bash at London's Royal Albert Hall.
