Ulster-Scots Commissioning Brief Autumn 2017

Diversity and fostering an inclusive, wider understanding of our different traditions is at the heart of ´óÏó´«Ã½NI’s commissioning process. Across all our platforms, we will continue to reflect Ulster-Scots as a valuable part of the cultural wealth and heritage of Northern Ireland. While we have already begun the commissioning process for Ulster-Scots content for 2018/19, we are still looking for ideas - more details below.

June 2017 ´óÏó´«Ã½ Gaeilge Commissioning Brief

The closing date for the current ´óÏó´«Ã½ Gaeilge commissioning round is Friday, August 4, 2017. This round offers producers an opportunity to add to the strong portfolio of 60’ Irish Language documentaries and to maintain an appealing portfolio of 30’ singles or series across a variety of genre and topics.

As normal, producers should speak to our ´óÏó´«Ã½ Gaeilge Editor, Karen Kirby about any ideas they have.

Deadline: Friday, 4th August, 2017.

We’re pleased to announce the return of ‘Groundbreakers’ to our Ulster-Scots slate for 2018. Continuing our celebration of innovation and personal achievement, we’d like to hear about visionary characters with compelling personal stories.

´óÏó´«Ã½ NI/Radio Ulster invites ideas for a range of programmes to enhance and increase our Ulster-Scots portfolio.

June 2017 Drama Update

We are looking for three 60-min drama projects to develop into one-off specials or prequels, in association with Northern Ireland Screen.
