The London Sustainable Industries Park (London SIP)
The London Sustainable Industries Park is located on the Thames Gateway to the east of the city. It was built on the site of the former Dagenham Ford car factory (a An unused or derelict area of urban land that has been built on previously.) and it provides space for nine different businesses. The park is well-connected by the underground network, the national rail network, the M25 motorway and City airport.

The three initial organisations located in the park work on Reusing materials or reprocessing waste materials to produce new materials., researching sustainability issues and using food waste to generate A type of biofuel (methane) derived from the action of bacteria on animal manure or other organic waste.. Other similar organisations will move in over time. The aim is that they will all work with one another through a closed loop system - sharing resources and ideas, and exchanging waste and Something that is produced as a waste product.. The government have invested money into this park because they believe that this is a good model for the future of industry in the UK.
