Landscapes
Landscape painting can focus on natural scenery such as mountains, forests, sea or sky, or a built environment such as a city street or building.
If painting outdoors, it鈥檚 helpful to paint quickly because of weather, light or other conditions. Keeping equipment to a minimum is also sensible.

Use a sketchbook or watercolour pad to create quick landscape studies or sketches.
Watercolour pencils and paints are convenient for working outdoors as they are small and dry quickly. Take photos in order to capture the scene for reference later.
