Although a female reader may buy GQ, the content will be created with the male audience in mind.

TV programmes may target an audience through age. For example, C大象传媒's Newsround is aimed at younger viewers, so it selects and presents news content in a straightforward way which engages young people.
大象传媒 Newsnight targets an older, adult audience and therefore presents news with more detailed or in-depth content and analysis.
C大象传媒's Newsround programme's target audience is younger viewers but it might be watched by older viewers.
Older viewers may watch Newsround and some younger viewers may find Newsnight content interesting 鈥 but both programmes are primarily targeted at a defined age group.
