Polybat players and playing areas
Playing area
- A game of polybat is played on a standard table tennis table that is conditioned for wheelchair users.
- The polybat side barriers must be 10 cm high and not encroach on the table by more than 3.5 cm.
- To hit the ball, players use a wood or plastic bat that is no longer than 30 cm and the hitting surface area should not exceed 180 cm.
- A match must be played with a soft plastic airflow golf ball. To ensure good vision of the ball, it must be either white or orange in colour and have a matt finish.
