An animated clip about a struggling actor, grappling with German prepositions. A grumpy and demanding director teaches her about the accusative, dative, genitive and two-way prepositions, by giving her hints and tips, such as mnemonics and acronyms, to help her remember how to use them.

Give pupils a sorting task, in which they have to categorise different prepositions as being accusative, dative, or two-way prepositions. Provide pupils with sentences that have the incorrect agreement after the preposition and ask them to amend accordingly. Give pupils an image of a room in the house and ask them to generate sentences describing where items are located using a variety of prepositions.
