*We see the Earth in the centre of the screen, surrounded by stars. Alice and Oisin float in the foreground, wearing astronaut helmets. *
ALICE: Wow the Earth looks tiny from here!
NARRATOR: It鈥檚 hard to imagine how big it feels when you鈥檙e walking around, going to school and playing with your friends isn鈥檛 it?
OISIN: It looks more like a football to me!
NARRATOR: There are billions of people living on Earth! And there are lots of different religions. 10,000 in fact!
*Symbols for various religions encircle the Earth. *
ALICE: I don鈥檛 think I can even count that far!
The symbol for Christianity floats to the top of the screen, followed by Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism and Judaism.
NARRATOR: Christianity is just one of the world鈥檚 religions. There鈥檚 also Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism and many more. Lots of religions share the same ideas - like compassion, solidarity, and love for other people.
*We zoom into the Earth in a blur, and arrive in an empty space. The kids are no longer wearing helmets. Images of objects appear on screen as the narrator mentions them. *
NARRATOR: Religions also usually have a sacred building to pray in - like a mosque, church or synagogue. A lot of religions also have a holy book, like the Qur鈥檃n, Bible or Tanakh.
*A Muslim woman, Christian monk and Jewish rabbi stand beside each other. *
NARRATOR: These are all followers of different religions, dressed according to their faith.
*The characters wave at the kids, and each other, smiling and nodding in a friendly way. *
NARRATOR: While they may all believe in different things, they respect each other鈥檚 backgrounds and religion.
