With the illegal downloading of films and music such a hot topic, Song Wars turned its attention to anti -piracy songs. Here for free and to keep are the two tracks that battled it out on the show last year. Find out which one won the listener vote via the Adam & Joe podcast available right now.

aaaaaaarrrrggggghhhhh. just for one week, ONE WEEK could the little techy mice get this thing automated & synchronised?

I'm guessing there are not too many people around today to sort the podcast......but if there is......I'll bring you a cup cake.

oooow - sorry, sorry, sorry James - I didn't see your entry at the end of last week's blog. Thank you so much for keeping us up to date and not letting us think we had been forgotten. Big Kiss.
...I guess the Castle's weekend has been as fraught as mine.....

Oh my god!!!! Producer James get the law suit in motion T4 copied the made up jokes idea that Adam and Joe done in Glastonbury at the Edinburgh festival.... Proof that channel 4 still miss Adam and Joe but are plagiarists also!!!!

    THE PODCAST ISN'T HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

+ I HAVE ONE OTHER GRIEVANCE

WHEN I DOWNLOAD THESE SONGS I CAN ONLY PLAY THEM WHEN ONLINE!!!

THIS IS VERY ANNOYING BECAUSE QUANTUM OF SOLACE MY A BUCKLES IS IMMENSE!

Imagine the real theme tune they used with jack blah and alicia piano keys and times it by a million and you have Adam's Song! Times it by a thousand and you have Joe's! (which is also very good but not as good, but you are just as good - and you are taller!

    mmmm tasty podcast.

I've posted this before, but just incase anyone missed it and would like an album cover for this new collection of Song Wars tracks I did a wee bit of photoshopping and made this:

(my Mac does have a right click.... so did my old one 3 years ago.... glad I missed out the days when there wasn't one; sounds weird.)

I've got alot of love for Adam's piracy song. Always makes me chuckle, and Ive finally got it in Mp3 form. Hurrah!
Song Wars songs are definitely going to become on of the integral parts to my playlists from now on.
And I hope this blog continues to deliver, after the Song Wars classics, Song wars songs, because adams fantasia Credit Crunch song is definitely something that all our MP3 players would profit from :D

    Ideas for song wars:

Hip Hop Song based on Adam and Joe's favourite hip hop artists. Or the ones they hate so they can take the micky.

Game Wars: Adam and Joe make a song for a game they liked as a kid or like now (theyre big kids)

    Hi James Producer,
I don't suppose you could do me a massive favour? I'd really like to have Adam's credit crunch song as an mp3, as I think it was freaking amazing. The trouble is, I doubt it'll come up on the song wars qullassixuueees because it was one he did against Garth Jennings. Perhaps you could post it sometime in the future, as it was truly brilliant.
    Thanks!

Yippee! I'm really enjoying these warmed up Song Wars morsels. I'm just hoping the act of revisiting them will get Adam and Joe all "pumped up" and "psyched" to create some new Song Wars Kqllassixcq when they get back from their hols. One question, though: is there any prospect of the Song Wars Volume One compilation being distributed anywhere outside iTunes? Like, say... Amazon? It's just that, like John Hodgman and David Mitchell, I'm a PC. I don't have an iPod and don't have iTunes installed. Y'see, I'm Creative Zen and Winamp kind of a guy but I still want to enjoy 'European Supermarket', 'All Night Garage', 'The Hours' and 'Tiny Mobile Speakers' like the rest of you have already been doing for months! Please fix it for me, Jim'll!

Mkay, Piracy Song wins for me, though Joe's is niiiice...
Commenter number 4 is an idiot-hole, even **I** can manage to download AND get it to play with iTunes AND get iTunes to copy it not just play from origin *smug*
(I don't get to feel superior that often, is nice!)

Anyhow, my favorite part of Piracy Song is the part where Ken calls pirates: bar stewards... or something close enough ;)

What would it mean if these were available on torrents, or Napster?

  • Comment number 15.

What does Adam say in his song after he says "I steal films, I steal books?"

  • Comment number 16.

    To Save_ferris:
I steal films, I steal books, I steal thoughts, I steal looks, I steal kids, Well I don't steal kids but I BITE! bleah!

    I think.

  • Comment number 17.

I think it's "might" rather than "bite". But I could be wrong as well. :)
