Excellent new show. I'm thoroughly enjoying it. The over earnest or creepy songs NOT to include in a mix tape for a fancyee had me hooting with laughter last week.
A song that always makes me laugh for it's overblown pomp is Jackie by Scott Walker.
I've been listening to the ´óÏó´«Ã½ podcasts since they came out and only just got the Weetabix element to the 'weaker bits' sting about a week ago. I always just thought it was very amusing in it's own right. I felt like a knob.

I love Peter Serafinowicz, he's fab! Both myself and my young daughters particularly like 'Look Around You' in which he looked really good with the moustache and lipstick! Great writing too!

When I was doing A Levels, I managed to get my science teacher to play an episode of Look Around You to the class under the guise of revision. We got pretty much to the end of an episode before she noticed. It was one of those vague revision lessons, where the teacher is barely there. Very funny though, especially the gratuitous use of pencils and pointless clamps.

The things you (Peter) do are largely very funny, but mainly the dance at the beginning of your TV show.

It's been on a couple of my own mix tapes in the past. Might have to make my own "funny" mix soon and include this again. There are lots of clever/amusing little lines in the song, but I particularly like the way he sings "Angela Jolie" instead of "Angelina Jolie", I still can't decide whether he did that on purpose because it had one less syllable, or he actually got her name wrong. I'd like to think the latter, that's one in the eye for Jolie, so to speak.
