Stuck in Miami

The epic journey has started, and stalled! After sitting in the plane on Miami runway for two hours we were ordered to leave the aircraft. We waited another two hours, then queued for one hour to get a hotel voucher, then the printer broke down and the queue rushed off somewhere else with people scrambling to get to the front.
It looks like getting to Lima alone will be a difficult journey and that's before we've even started going up to the Andes on llamas and trekking through narcotics country!
Now I'm stuck in Miami without my luggage. Hopefully, I can still make my meetings in Lima tomorrow and all our bad luck has already been used up. How likely is this?
