Inside the Human Body

Produced as an accompaniment to the Inside the Human Body programme, this is the fascinating story of how the production team behind the four-part series brought together the latest scientific research and the most innovative computer technology to create never-before-seen worlds for this ´óÏó´«Ã½ One landmark series.

In the last epsiode of the series, ‘Hostile World’, we discover how the recurring hero of the series, the phagocyte, was transformed from medical images into a realistic 3D character – culminating in a giant battle as it defends your body from invaders. Also, how the music for series brought drama and spectacle to events taking place on a microscopic level.

Comments

  • Comment number 1.

Along with thousands of other people I enjoy watching Springwatch and unsprung, I also love to see other peoples photo's they have sent in to springwatch, last night there were some magnificent macro shots shown, but once again Chris Packham wasn't that complimentry, whilst I respect his knowledge as a naturalist, I just wish he would remember that some people dont have access to fancy photographic equipment, that for them its a hobby to capture moments in nature. yes constructive critisim is welcome if thats what you want as a serious photographer, but come on most of us are just ordinary joe bloggs trying to do our bit after all.
