´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 1 Teen Awards
´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 1 Teen Awards are a chance for you to recognise some of your own personal heroes in your everyday life and in the celebrity world.
We asked you to nominate someone out there, so amazing, that you think the world needs to hear about them. Your nomination could have been a sibling, carer, fundraiser or just a great mate. As long as they have done something truly out of the ordinary or selfless, are aged between 12 - 17 years and live in the UK they could be nominated.
All of the entries were reviewed by our team at Radio 1 and a shortlist has been created. The shortlist is then presented to a panel of celebs and experts who will decide on the winners.
We also asked you to vote for your favourite person or persons for Best British Single, Young Sporting Hero, Album, TV Show and Music Act from a shortlist created by our panel.
The winners will be announced and presented with their awards on Sunday 9th October at the Teen Awards. Nick Grimshaw and Mollie (The Saturdays) will be hosting the awards and your fave pop stars will be performing live!
If you can't be there in person, watch the performances and the award presentations live here on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Red Button.

First Click
´óÏó´«Ã½ One's smash hit genealogy series Who Do You Think You Are? is encouraging computer novices to go online and research their own genealogy as part of the ´óÏó´«Ã½'s First Click campaign.
The series delves deep into celebrity family ancestry, uncovering a host of hidden pasts and shock revelations.
Larry Lamb presents three fascinating films, available on the ´óÏó´«Ã½'s Red Button, in which experts explain how viewers new to computers can use some of the key resources available to the amateur family historian.
Each film features examples and stories from the current series highlighting how passenger lists, birth, marriage and death certificates; census returns, Army Service records, foreign records and Poor Law records can all be accessed online.
A special family history guide for new computer users offering advice, tips and encouragement to get online is available at www.bbc.co.uk/firstclick and at venues running the popular First Click beginners courses.

Bang Goes the Theory
Bang LIVE on tour - Experience hands-on science with the Bang team in their live stage show full of surprises, insights and, of course, a bang or two! More than a quarter of a million people have now come to see the Bang Goes The Theory roadshow. As well as Dr Yan's interactive area, this year visitors were treated to Liz, Dallas and Jem performing a live stage show:
As part of the stage show, the Bang team use volunteers from the audience to help test their theories. Many items link to the TV show, but in the live show, we get hands-on and take them a stage further. Dallas is keen to see if he can use other sweets to beat Jem and his pear drops, so they play a game of "Glue-niversity Challenge"... Jem sets fire to his hands to help solve climate change... and the team fulfil every young child's dream by hosting Space Camp, testing volunteers with real astronaut training tests - the winner gets to launch a rocket, and the chance to go into space... And then there's fabulous fireworks, the edible insect challenge, birthday bingo, deconstructing the vacuum gloves and much much more. If you've not managed to make it to a Roadshow this year, this is your opportunity to find out what you've been missing.
This show was filmed in Bradford in September 11th, 2011.
