Online premiere of comedy pilot The Klang Show

Post categories: ,Ìý,Ìý

Dana Stevens | 16:30 UK time, Monday, 9 August 2010

Last week we gave you the chance to watch Inn Mates for seven days before its telly premiere (tonight 9pm ´óÏó´«Ã½ Three). And today it's the turn of The Klang Show, a brand new comedy pilot from the same guys that brought you We Are Klang: Greg Davies, Steve Hall and Marek Larwood. Their new show is a celebration of silliness and the Klang's inimitable take on the variety format - inane songs, bizarre slapstick, surreal sketches and daft new characters all performed live in front of a studio audience. So press play and settle back to watch it now, a whole week before it is shown on telly.

loved it bring it on, come on bbc three the best thing since reeves and moritmer began. Please please please please make this a series.

  • Comment number 5.

Oh dear. Love Greg Davies. Hate this. There is a difference between quirky comedy and drivel.

  • Comment number 6.

When I heard that We Are Klang were going to make another show, I was hoping it would be as brilliant as the first series, and Ive not been disappointed! Absolutely love it!!! I laughed so much, sometimes my jaw just dropped to the floor! Please make this into a series and then bring out both series on DVD!!!

Marek Larwood is double sexy. Put this on my TV please. Thank you.

  • Comment number 8.

Wow - fantastic, what a very funny show. It made me laugh so much - brilliant stuff. When's the next one on?

Loved it. After being given incorrect directions to Pebble Mill, I inadvertently saw it recorded and am heartened to see that the chaps' obvious love of what they do (and their even more obvious biblical love of each other) shines through post editing. Kindly put more of this on the talking tellybox or I'll get drunk and abuse people outside the ´óÏó´«Ã½. Again.

Absolutely amazing! I laughed so much! I was saddened to hear that the last series had been axed but this is just as great! PLEASE give it a series! They so deserve it!

  • Comment number 11.

I enjoyed it, to be honest. It reminds me of a cross between Fist of Fun and Reeves and Mortimer. I would definitely like to see more of Klang on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Three.

  • Comment number 12.

Absolutely hilarious- even better than the last series! This has to be made into a proper show as soon as possible.

  • Comment number 13.

Utter garbage. I thought "We are Klang" was bad, but this surpasses it by miles. The writers must have gone out of their way to erase anything funny from the script.

Greg Davies in Inbetweeners is hilarious. This is just diabolical.

I suppose some trendy at the ´óÏó´«Ã½ are desperate to give this lot a show. Well well done for trying but it has been a spectacular fail. We are Klang was useless, but The Klang Show is even worse.

This would have been tired and trite in the 70's.

[Personal details removed by Moderator] I want to see these guys back on our TV!!! Loved the last series, sad this wasnt followed up with another. However really like this format. The 'cartoon' skits are good, reminds me of South Park a bit. Liked the Klangdid camera, '5 a day' and Timmy Timkins sketch was good - dont think I'll ever be able to look at a cucumber in the same light again. Stomach roll please!!! Love it...love it....love it....

I adore Klang! They are absolute comic geniuses. I think this show format portrays their live stuff better than the last series did. KLANG! Television needs you!!! If you're listening ´óÏó´«Ã½ three, please put these guys back on the air. Loving it!

Thank you for the funniest half-hour of silliness I've seen in ages. I've been laughing so hard I now feel sick. If this doesn't get a series, there's no justice in the world. Bin Mitchell & Webb (which has gone completely off the boil) and spend the money on the Klang boys.

  • Comment number 17.

SOOOOO FUNNY! I really like Jimmy and his inside out cat! 5 a day and Timmy Timkins is great also. These boys have got some talent. Its nice to see comedians actually ENJOYING themselves. Very silly! Would love to see more of this type of program!

  • Comment number 18.

Please make this into a series! Bloody brilliant stuff as usual from the Klang boys. And please release 'We Are Klang' onto DVD, I loved that show! A million times better than that shit 'Lee Nelson's Well Good Show'.

I absolutely LOVED 'We are Klang', it was the funniest new thing I'd seen on tv for ages and was so looking forward to a second series.
I take it from this pilot ´óÏó´«Ã½ Three aren't making another series of 'We are Klang' - yet another howling oversight by the ´óÏó´«Ã½ comedy department (need I mention The Peter Serafinowicz Show??!?!?!)

Sorry boys, I think you're great but this was just wasn't good enough. Bring back 'We are Klang' instead please!

  • Comment number 21.

My wife made a self-mess watching Klang last night! And she bought load of cucumbers for some reason? Very very good as usual from the boys. And after starting the evening with Mitchell & Webb, then Vic & Bob, Klang was the topping of the kak genius genius sandwich

  • Comment number 22.

MORE KLANG!!! Just brilliant, Greg, Marek and Steve make a wonderful comedy troupe... :D

  • Comment number 23.

I say, you ´óÏó´«Ã½ shower of ne-er-do-wells, put it back up at once! I once shared a Hobnob with Hugh Carleton Greene, you know!

  • Comment number 24.

Apologies that we've had to take the show down temporarily - the production team needed to re-edit something. It will be going back up later today so please check back later Ruthy66.
    Thanks

  • Comment number 25.

See? Friends in high places ;)

  • Comment number 26.

Yes indeed Ruthy66 - it was your Hobnobbing that did it!!!

  • Comment number 27.

unless the editing involves actually putting in something funny, I doubt it will help much.

  • Comment number 28.

    Brilliant!

This is so fresh and funny, please make more.

  • Comment number 29.

Watched this last night with my boyfriend and we both really loved it. Thanks ´óÏó´«Ã½3 for taking a chance on something a bit different to feed the sense of humour of us twisted folks!

When will the next episode be on? :)

  • Comment number 34.
