Currently the episode with Joe Swanson's new legs, where Joe, Peter Griffin, Quagmire and Cleveland sing 'Good Morning' from 'Singin' In The Rain' and Joe makes Quagmire cry!

  • Comment number 2.

My favourite episode is '8 simple rules for dating my teenage daughter' where Peter buys 8 crates of Ipecac and has a competition with Brian, Stewie and Chris to see who can be the last one to throw up and win a piece of leftover pie.

    Season: 4 - Episode: 14 - "PTV"

That's the one with the FCC song.

  • Comment number 4.

    Road to Multiuniverse!

First my favourite character is Brian and the best ones are when he and Stewie have their own episodes because of that Dog and Baby abuse relationship.

And so this episode is one ultimate favourite because of how hot Meg looks yet she is still the ugliest in the universe, going to the loo is so easy, the flintstones thing, robot chicken moment especially when Stewie pisses Chris off cos hes so in co-hoots with the show, Brian and Stewie live opposite lives for a bit in Dog dominated society and then bring human brian back only for him to get run over like pets do.

Best of all had to be the Disney universe with the song "It's a wonderful day for pie"

That's why I love this episode. It's like Stewie and Brians own spin off series all in one episode!

  • Comment number 5.

my fav episode would have to be 4:20 lv it where brian trys to legalize weed i really love that one bbc three please play it again

  • Comment number 6.

My best freakin' episode is PTV! I totally love Peter's TV station especially the bit when Peter says "What about this sideboob? That turn you on? Well it shouldn't, cause that's my sideboob!" & it zooms out & you can see that it's Peter's sideboob! If it was a real TV station I would watch it all the time, especially the sideboob hour!

  • Comment number 7.

    my favourite episode is multiverse

  • Comment number 8.

my favourite freakin episode is multiverse

this is because its the most unusual not that any other episodes are exactly normal. I also like brian and stewies adventures

  • Comment number 9.

I chose the episode 'I Dream of Jesus', I love this episode because Peter is obsessed with the Surfing Bird song and it annoys the rest of his family. It's just my all time favourite episode of family guy :)

  • Comment number 10.

i think the best family guy episode is and then there were fewer
because it is a awesome murder mystery episode, you dont know who killed quagmires ugly obese girlfriend, and yet its funny aswell when peter weres a knight suit and knocks out joe. also when stewie kills Diane and saves his mother's life! there is so much i could say and it was a hard decision but this ep for me is the best

  • Comment number 11.

My favourite episode is missing from the list it's McStroke where Peter suffers a stroke after being given unlimited free burgers. The episode starts with Peter growing a moustache and undertaking manly pursuits, including resucing a burger bar owner from a blazing fire. Unfortunately he looses his tache in the process and has to use Brian as a substitute (taped to his face). Following his stroke the animation is truly incredible with Peter's eye half-way down his face and his left side completely imobile. Fortunately following some stem cell treatment he is able to recover - brilliant and can't believe it's not on the list!

16/18 of Series 5, No Chris Left Behind in which Peter has a fantastic fight in two parts with his nemesis, the large yellow chicken. It parodies film cliches from the best Action scenes from movies and television, and leaves a trail of mayhem as they slug it out.

Since that is not in the shortlist I have voted instead for I Dream Of Jesus which centres around Peter's obsession with the novelty record Surfin' Bird.

  • Comment number 13.

I voted for Road to Multiverse but my all time favourite episode has got to be "No Meals on Wheels"! Its sooo freaking funny! When Joe tells all his crippled cop buddies to form up "crippotron" i nearrly wet myself I was laughing that hard!! I reckon this episode should be on the list! I would've defo voted for it if it had! Though Road to Multiverse is really funny and clever and a bit different from the usual episodes so thats why it got my vote.

I have to say I have seen all the episodes of the upcoming season and there are a good 3 or 4 that would defo make it onto this list so the new series is well worth the wait!!

  • Comment number 14.

Voted for "Baby Not on Board". Purely for the quote when Stewie is reunited with the family! Although this is not my favorite ever episode.

It has to be "Long John Peter" - the episode when Peter became a pirate. The cutaway gag about Michael J Fox is just so wrong, but made me laugh on so many levels! Think the panel missed a gem on this one!

  • Comment number 15.

C'mon folks what about 'barely legal' Meg and Brian hitting it off at the prom, Brian drinking and sizing up his own vomit and Stewie relishing the confession. Toe curling brilliance.

  • Comment number 16.

Road to Rhode Island is the best. Everything Stewie says is pure gold.

  • Comment number 17.

Multi verse was the best family guy episode ever :)

  • Comment number 18.

So many great episodes to choose from! As my all time favourite is not on here 'no meals on wheels' ): then i'll have to go with my next in line 'Meet the Quagmires' love how Peter keeps messing up his chance to date Lois and gets distracted going dancing with Cleveland!

  • Comment number 19.

My favourite episode so far is 'And Then There Were Fewer' or 'Stewie Kills Lois' part 1&2

  • Comment number 20.

I Dream Of Jesus best episode ever !!! Got my favourite song in hahaha :P

  • Comment number 21.

I am *loving* all your comments - and thank you for reminding me about lots of scenes I'd forgotten about... keep those comments coming! Don't forget you can still vote for your until Thursday morning if you've not done so already...

  • Comment number 22.

THE BIRD, BIRD, BIRD IS THE WORD :D

  • Comment number 23.

Brian's Got a Brand New Bag, if only for Brian's attempted chatup of the dumb bar girl, and the most awesome ending when Brian gets dumped by the old lady... "does that look like a divan to you?" This one isn't even on the voting list - why not??

  • Comment number 24.

Series 5 episode11... Where Stewie spends too long on the sunned and thinks he's got melanoma... "olive juice??" "olive juice you too...." brilliant.....

  • Comment number 25.

I was really stuck between two episodes, 'Road to the Multiverse' and 'And then there were Fewer'. Both are groundbreaking episodes in the show, the former showcasing multiple animation styles, my favourite being the disney and Robot Chicken themed dimensions. I love this show to pieces and I could probably recite almost every episode... And then there were Fewer is definitely a great episode, it's one of the first to use their new animation style and HD ready for today's generation of cartoons.

  • Comment number 26.

The king is dead the best

  • Comment number 27.

Come on why are 'McStroke' and 'No meals on wheels' left off this list?

  • Comment number 28.

@Prodigy: Ack, it was really tricky coming up with the shortlist, whittling down almost 300 episodes to just 25, making sure there was a good spread across the seasons etc. etc. It was inevitable we'd not fit everyone's favourite into the shortlist.

However, I hope there was another episode in the shortlist you felt you could vote for instead?

  • Comment number 29.

naa the best episode is one where brain wins a compotion to a luxary hotel in massachusets and invites lois and peter because peter keeps going out with joe and clevland and quagmire instead of going to somewhere with lois as he said he would which is really funny and he acts really wierd and gets in a massive fight with brian over lois cause he took advantage of the situation and leaps on lois at the end they do this amazing song about the spirit of massachusets

  • Comment number 30.

My Favourite Moment is on "The Man with Two Brian's" when when Stewies kills the new dog because he says "he humped Rupert" and at the end when Stewie is holding Rupert in The shower and saying "i don't blame you" haha :D

  • Comment number 31.

The one were it Cleavlands wife is tellin a story and peters sayin all these made up adverts cumin up at the bottom of the screen like rotating disagreeing black Nd white guy:D
