OK, well if I were a vampire, even one stuck in a teenage body I would NOT go back to school! I mean seriously, it was bad enough the first time around.

I'd prefer if this was released mid-week, just to help me survive the whole week without being human, but at the same time I do enjoy the double dose of the show :D

Really enjoyed this first episode...fabulous link over to eps 2 of Being Human...no real surprise that Matt is a ghost...the mystery now to uncover is a 'who done it'. Well acted all the cast

Loved it. Like all of us, I'm sure I wish it had gone on longer but from the sound of it they are gonna be spoon feeding us clues all week. Om nom nom.

The three main characters are great, the egg puns made me laugh and so did Adam's attempt at fitting in.

Who knows, maybe some of these characters could pop up in the main show one day, I love expanding the BH universe.

It just shows u how popular being human is on the web, that they have issued a sister show. I never go online to check on my fav shows, but being human is defo one i look for.
I'm glad the 大象传媒 have made a sister show, as sometimes i hate paying for my telly license as most shows are uninteresting, tho I enjoy this very much (god i sound as i'm writing to points of view ) .

That was a fantastic intro, nice to see that Adam isn't just a BH equivalent of the red shirted Star Trek character. Hope there's more crossover too.

Got to be honest I wasn't too bothered about it but having watched it its infact very good.

Brilliant though i knew it would be with the BH team behind it - great actors as well of course. I know i am new but i could not go without posting a comment about this.

And so the 8 weekly episodes? What does that entail? Is it 1 a night or something?

Anyway, i loved how they managed to get a detention, for that laugh, it was worth it anyway. Great episode 2 as well, cannot go without mentioning the other crew!

Oh yes, forgot to say I love Adam's 40something references!! So real! :)

The writers have taken a fantastic show and given it a very entertaining twist. I was very mis-understood in school as I could and still can see ghosts (yes yes I've head all the men in white coat jokes) The writers have got this spot on including someone just following her round and then Matt not realising he could be seen. Thankyou

Also, as I said before I was worried about this Adam character being too similar to Craig's character in Young Dracula, Robin. But after seeing Being Human and Becoming Human tonight I needn't worry!

Although the programmes are quite similar, this character is the complete opposite of Robin. Robin was a human desperate to be a vampire, Adam is a vampire who wants to be human.

67 - that's certainly the case in The Vampire Diaries...not too sure about in Being Human though. We know a werewolf can kill a vampire because George killed Herrick and due to Lia's prophecy about Mitchell. I wonder what just one bite would do...
That could make a very good plot line.

@ 62 & 67 - the impresion I've been given is that a werewolf ripping a vamp apart will kill them (although lets not forget that Heric is alive, well, undead, again)... Nothing to say that a single bite would finish them off...

Although for the pedants, chamge that to scratch! Lol

To 67, i seem to remember after watching Underworld:rise of the lycans that vampires did die when they had their throats ripped out by werewolves, is that of any help to you?

more suspects to come and was the dismissed graffiti in the toilet something important. We know of course that the sick might be. poison food poisoning. it all depends on one thing will they find the body to search for clues? or is that a bit too much?

yet to see season three of lost - lost stared the Bishop guy from BEING HUMAN US only in the final season I think, but is it an in joke?

I'd imagine he would be very annoyed. Just biting isn't enough to turn someone in this show (although it is in some other vampire stories). You make an interesting point though. I do wonder what would happen if a vampire actually tried to turn a werewolf (i.e. draining then feeding their own blood). I'd imagine they just become a vampire, but I wonder if they'd be both? In some stories vampires can turn into wolves so maybe, from this universe's perspective, they're the result of such an action.

Anyway, I enjoyed this. I was worried it would just be a teenage version of Being Human, but the characters are actually rather different. I was a tad disappointed they included a ghost though as the trio of different supernaturals is a bit repetitive, but it's actually turning out rather interesting.

Having said that it's way better than half the things being touted for kids these days...

Yes now this looks like an interesting series. Though Very short very enjoyable.

How would Christa know who Edward Woodward was.

I'm afraid I found it to be lazily written... Now don't get me wrong, I'm no writer myself, but as a method actor I tend to look at the thinking behind the dialogue.

For instance, the 80's pop culture references - I am of that age where I can remember Johnny Ball (Think of a Number) and Timothy Claypole (Rentaghost) and it was great hearing them... But would I use them when speaking to a 16 year old? Of course not! I would know that they would mean nothing to them...

Adam was speaking more as if he had just dropped through a time portal from the 80's rather than lived through the last 30 years, just to get some references in and get a cheap laugh.

I have been a huge fan of Being Human ever since I saw the Pilot in 2008, and really enjoyed the subtle writing.

Sorry to say this though - Becoming Human wasn't up to the same standard.

That said, I will stick with it... Maybe it was just a glitch?

A very very good spin off, great casting, writing, and always nice to see new projects from the 大象传媒. Shame about it being in mini episode format, it would be a huge success as a full blown series. Please don鈥檛 sell it to America, I鈥檓 not being elitist but remaking this type of drama from what I have seen (Being Human US) doesn鈥檛 do the original any justice. Keep up the good work; I wait impatiently for the next instalment.. Kudos to you all its simply fantastic 飦�

Quality stuff, great acting from all the cast. This should be a proper spin-off series on 大象传媒3 (maybe even C大象传媒). Seriously, if Doctor Who can have The Sarah Jane Adventures, why can't Being Human have Becomming Human. I hope that one day this will happen. Poke Russell T Davies on this one!!!

@81, nah I noticed her - just didn't really care. I really loved this, the cast worked really well together! Like most people have said, I really wish it was longer though. It's weird seeing Craig Roberts older, but he was actually rather great in this (and Being Human of course, which was another great show as usual)

Anyone else notice the other Young Dracula connection? Mr Swan is Renfield!
