Gnarls Barkley - 'Who Cares/Gone Daddy Gone'

Gnarls BarkleyCalling the latest double offering from the Barkley a mixed bag is like calling Nicola Aloud measured and Lee Ryan affectionate, but it's as close we can get without spraying you all with excitable jibber - and that's a bugger to wash out, that is.

So, while 'Who Cares' is a real snoozie of a soul lullaby, all twiddly synths, finger-jabbed organ and eerie humming, 'Gone Daddy Gone' is a classic alt-punk cover, only squeezed through a Fisher Price four piece.

And yeah OK, neither are as good as 'Crazy', but let's face it, Posh's fake bits won't have even begun bio-degrading by the time we get another song as good as that, right?
