Little Man Tate - 'Man, I Hate Your Band'

Post categories:

It's fair to say this lot have heard the Arctic Monkeys. Actually, it's fair to say they've heard them, and then decided to have a go at being them, only a bit older and a little more grumpy, and with a slight 'r' lisp.

Certainly the twin guitar attack is very familiar, and the spiky lyrics, which are half sarcastic attack on a hapless and egotistical beat combo and half totally serious attack on the same band.

What separates the Tate from the Monkeys is the air of celebration they bring to the hate party. Like they're calling for all the people who have a problem with this unnamed combo to come out and have a great big band hating party, with nasty jelly. Heck, they'd probably welcome the band along too. If only cos they might learn something.

    Great band, great song.
Not all too pleased with the review...don't think it's written that well...and they aren't trying to be Arctic Monkeys, this whole band thing started off as a bit of a joke, they didn't really imagine they'd come this far...
