Shiny Toy Guns - pink arrows point to Jeremy

When I first read that Shiny Toy Guns were developing a special feature of their website where you could download some of their best synth noises to use in creating your own songs, it seemed a great thing to talk to the band about. I mean you don't hear of Oasis offering guitar chord advice, or Scooch letting you have a go on their hostess outfits when they're not using them, do you?

Sadly, I had forgotten the cardinal rule of ChartBlog interviews. NEVER ask a band how they make the music they make...

JeremyWhat I expected: Some handy hints on how best to approach making music. Some tips for aspiring bands on good ways of getting your ideas together. A kind of verbal manual for the would-be musician, really...

What I did not expect: No offense to Jeremy, or me, but some conversations may seem fascinating when you're in the middle of them. But lose some of that amazing insight when other people are expected to listen in. What I'm hinting at is that it's possible that we've been a bit boring at times, without meaning to be.

With that in mind, if you find yourself drifting off at any point in the interview, feel free to enjoy the relaxing backing music ChartBlog has created especially for situations just like these. It's not too startling, but may provide a welcome place to hide when the going gets a little worthy...
