Exciting Klaxons/Legion Developments...

Fraser McAlpine | 16:08 UK time, Tuesday, 12 June 2007

Hey, remember this?

'Gravity's Rainbow' by Klaxons by The Central Band Of The Royal British Legion...

Well, as you'd expect, this little beauty has fair set the internets ablaze. And the Central Band (do check out their if you'd like to hear more of their work) have been inundated with offers.

For starters the Klaxons themselves are so keen on the Legion's version of their song that they have taken to ending their gigs with it playing in the background. There was even some talk of the Klaxos and the Lege doing some kind of crazy onstage jam, but that might be a tough one to organise.

And Radio 1's own Colin Murray - a man who I've always thought had the best taste ever *simper* - is playing the song TONIGHT in his come-one-come-all feature The Black Hole which starts at 10:45.

AND a major TV channel...well, it's more like the sequel to a major TV channel...have asked them to record some little backgroundy 'ident' things. Naturally I can't advise that you should keep an eye out for such things, for reasons I'm not entirely sure about...oh what the hell, DO keep an eye out for them, I doubt the ´óÏó´«Ã½ will die.

Best of all, there's finally an mp3 version for you to cut out and keep. It's HERE...
