It May LOOK Clever, But...
All this fuss about the gorilla, and how amazing the costume is, how lifelike, etc, and on a drum kit just like Phil Collins's too...
BUT!
...Phil Collins is left-handed. The kit is back to front. Didn't get THAT right, didja, Mr Chocolate Monkey Drumming Ad Man? TRY HARDER!

LOL so funny. That ad is real puzzling. And wtf has a monkey drumming to phile collins got to do with chocolate? I mean, come on, be realistic people!
XXXXX
This is the strangest advert, no wait. The strangest THING I have ever seen in my life!
When I first saw it I had to pinch myself as I thought I was having another one of my strange dreams.
how dare you diss the drumming gorilla....its a living legend!!!!
[living? - Fraser]
fair one
It is a great video indeed, unexpected, funny, intense. It is actually perfect in some aspects: The song is well chosen, intense and with the gorilla images, tense face expressions or call it concentration, I dont believe it and I will tell why, it grabs people's attention and it does set an enviroment, intense music and intense images, it can grab a whole family during dinner and the kids, for sure ( it IS a chocolate ad) will just... ..love it.
I dont believe it is concentration but tense faces on the gorila... why?
The gorilla at the beginning is actually a real gorila, who even gets pissed off when camera get closer, 30 sec with (only!! it's cadbury's there!) with only 5 cameras on different locations and zooms would be enough for quite some minutes of continuous play, 30 sec! And then, obviously, the drummer is someone in a costume, but did they wanted to do personate Phill Collins in the gorilla? I dont thibk so. SO what's the point of figuring out that the gorilla is not left handed? Anyway, thanks for sharing the video, haven't seen it before.
Keep up. :)
